Labor Rights - Termination of service without notice

Under the Industrial and Commercial Employment (Standing Orders) Ordinance, a permanent employee cannot be terminated without one month's written notice or one month's salary in lieu of notice. You are also entitled to gratuity (30 days salary for every year of service). You can file a grievance petition before the Labor Court within 3 months of termination.
