Mufti Basharat Ahmad Nayyar and Aftab Iqbal for Petitioners. Sardar Khurshid Ahmad for the State. This is an application for bail on behalf of Shafqat Elahi, Riaz and Nawaz petitioners in a case under sections 302/34/452/109, P.P.C. registered at Police Station, Saddar, Gujrat. The allegations against the petitioners are that they alongwith two others in furtherance of their common object caused the death of Mst. Sardarn and Mst. Sughran on the night between 10th/11th July, 1980 in the area of Mauza Laundpur.
2. Ghulam Rasool S. I. present in Court states that the petitioners have been declared innocent during the investigation and have been placed in column No. 2 of the challan. In these circumstances I am of the opinion that it is a case of further inquiry. The petitioners are allowed bail in the sum of Rs. 20,000 (rupees twenty thousand) with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of A. C., Gujrat. Bail granted.
