Criminal Miscellaneous No. 23 of 1950, decided on 30th January 1950. [Note‑‑This judgment is a supplement to the judgment in Criminal Original No. 29 of 1949, decided on 95th December 1949 and published in P. L. D. 9950, page
22. The words which have been amended occur in line 22 on page 33 of P. L. D.) This is an application for the expunging of certain observations made about the petitioner in our judgment, dated the 15th December 1949, in Crown v. Faiz Ahmad Faiz and others). These observations, which occur in the fourth paragraph from the end, are as follows:‑ "And if he has followed the proceedings of the case with some intelligence and without any bias lie did all this being conscious of the fact that the regularity or propriety of allotment of 22 rectangles of land in Chak No. 22/1 I., alleged to have been made in his favour by Raja Hasan Akhtar, might itself become an issue in the case under Charge No. IX." After hearing counsel, we delete the words "22 rectangles of" between the words "of" and "land" in the passage quoted above and substitute for these words the word "some". The judgment will be amended accordingly. K. M. A.
