The Illegal Dispossession Act 2005 is much faster. You file a complaint directly in the Court of Sessions. Under this Act, the court can direct the police to investigate within 15 days, and if prima facie dispossession is proved, the court can restore possession to you immediately even before the final trial ends. A regular civil suit can take years.
