How to get a copy of FIR and check its status?

Punjab Police has a digital portal, but access is restricted. You can visit the local Police Khidmat Markaz (PKM) with your CNIC to obtain a Character Certificate or check if you are nominated in any FIR. If an FIR exists, you are entitled to a copy under the law, or your lawyer can check it at the concerned police station or judicial magistrate's record room.
