Headnotes / Summary
‑Appointment‑Hereditary claims given pre ference over mere experience even if appointments in two pattis were to go to same tribe. Hereditary claim was preferred to mere experience as Lambardar for eight years even if appointments in both the pattis were made from Syeds.
Judgment & Decree
H. A. MAJID.‑The respondent, who was appointed Lambardar by the Collector and confirmed by the Commis sioner, has hereditary claims to a Lambardari post. The petitioner on the other hand possesses no such claim. The petitioner cannot, therefore, reasonably argue that the Collector should not have given the Lambardaris of both the Pattis to Syeds. The petitioner's contention that he has been working as temporary Lambardar for eight years, cannot help him in this case. I, therefore, dismiss this petition for revision without issuing notice to the other party. A. H. Petition dismissed.
