(XX of 1965), S. 13‑‑Suppression of 'Terrorist Activities (Special Courts) Act (XV of 1975), Ss. 3 & 4‑‑Bail, grant of‑ Presiding Officer of Special Court not appointed‑‑Accused not required by police for investigation purposes‑‑Bail allowed in circumstances. Raja Abdur Rehman with Iqbal Cheema for Petitioner. Farrukh Humayun for the State. According to the FIR, from petitioner Shah Jehan a Kalashnikov was recovered while from petitioner Zaka Ullah a Mouser and revolver was recovered. Petitioners were taken into custody on 24th of April. 1989. This case has to be tried by a special Court constituted under the Suppression of Terrorists Activities Act, 1975. The Presiding Officer of the said Court has since retired and uptill now, no new incumbent has been appointed
2. Mr. Akhtar Ali Khan, Inspector Wahdat Colony Police Station states that he does not require the petitioners, because recovery has already been effected from them. In this view of the matter, I direct that the petitioners shall be released on bail subject to their furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. fifty thousand each with two sureties each in the like amount to the satisfaction of Assistant Commissioner, Model Town, Lahore. S.A./S‑493/L Bail allowed.
