Superintendent of Police submitted that in pursuance of previous order passed in writ petition leading to present Criminal Original he had taken cognizance of the matter and would take appropriate steps at his own level to look into the conduct of Sub-Inspector of Police
Notice issued to accused Sub Inspcctor of Police was discharged in circumstances. Farooq Bedar, Addl. A.-G. for the State (on Court call) Ch. Ali Muhammad for Respondent. As has been noticed in my order of even date in Writ Petition No.2956 of1989, Javed Masih, the alleged detenu, has not been traced and recovered despite further efforts made by the police officials of Sheikhupura District.
2. The S.P. of Sheikhupura who is present in Court in connection with the above-said writ petition submits that he has taken cognizance of the matter in pursuance of the observations made by this Court in the order dated 17-7-1989 B passed in the aforementioned writ petition which has led to the present Criminal Original and that he shall take appropriate steps at his own level to look into the conduct of Rashid Ahmad S.T.
3. In this view of the matter no further proceedings in pursuance of the notice issued to Rashid Ahmad S.I. respondent are called for.
4. The notice issued to the accused/respondent is discharged and this petition is disposed of accordingly. N.H.Q./S-603/L Petition disposed of.
