‑‑‑S. 497‑‑Penal Code (XLV of 1860), S. 307‑‑Bail‑‑Injuries sustained by victim certified by Medical Officer to be simple in nature‑‑Bail granted. 1987 P Cr. L J 1014 and 1987 P Cr. L J 1033 rel. Amanullah Khan for Applicant. Abdul Sattar Shaikh, Addl. A.‑G. for the State, Applicant Muhammad Aslam is said to have assaulted complainant Matin Ahmed and caused him two injuries, one on chest and another on a buttock by means of a Chhuri on 28‑6‑1983. The case has been registered against him for an offence punishable under section 307, P.P.C. He has been arrested. Bail application filed in the Sessions Court was rejected. The main ground agitated by the learned counsel for the applicant is that the injuries sustained by victim Matin Ahmed are certified by the Medical Officer to be simple in nature. He has relied upon 1987 PCr.LJ 1014 and 1987 P Cr. L J 1033. The learned Additional Advocate‑General does not oppose the application in the light of the aforesaid authorities. Bail is granted in the sum of Rs.10,000 with one surety to the satisfaction of the Sessions Judge, Karachi. M.Y.H./M‑27/K Bail granted.
