Difference between Registry, Mutation, and Fard

1. Fard: Record of Rights showing who currently holds the land in the revenue register. 2. Registry: The actual contract of sale written on stamp paper, registered before the Sub-Registrar. 3. Mutation (Inteqal): The process where the revenue record (Fard) is updated to reflect the new buyer based on the Registry. The Registry is the primary title document, while Mutation is for fiscal/tax registration. Always ensure mutation is done after registry.
