Is Nikahnama clause 18 (Tafweez-e-Talaq) valid?

While filling out my Nikahnama, my family wants to write 'Yes' in Column 18 (which delegates the right of divorce to the bride). The groom's family is saying this clause is illegal and invalid. What is the legal truth?

Column 18 (Tafweez-e-Talaq) is completely legal and valid. If the husband delegates this right to the wife, she can dissolve the marriage herself without going to court for Khula, and she gets to keep her Haq Mehr. It is a highly recommended safety clause for brides, and the groom's family cannot legally object to it if agreed.
