S.497--Penal Code (XLV of 1860), Ss.307,323,336,147 & 148/149- Bail, grant of-- Co-accused on bail on merits--Case fit for bail but bail refused by Trial Court on ground of abscondence of accused--Bail allowed in circumstances. Syed Farid Alam Rizvi for Applicants. Abdul Ghafoor Mangi, A.A.-G. for the State. This is an application for bail in a case registered under sections 336, 323, 307, 147, 148 and 149, P.P.C. It is contended by Mr. Syed Farid Alam that there is general allegation against all the accused in this case and all the co-accused are on bail granted by the trial Court. He has further argued that applicants have wrongly been arrested and their identity yet to be proved and he has taken the ground in the trial Court. Mr. Abdul Ghafoor Mangi learned A.A.-G. has no objection to the grant of bail. On merits co-accused are on bail. The bail application of the present applicant has been rejected on the ground of absconsion. Otherwise the case is fit for bail. Applicants are admitted to bail on furnishing two sureties in the sum of Rs.30,000 each P.R. bond in the like amount to the satisfaction of Ist Additional Sessions Judge, Karachi East.
