Constitutional petition
Grievance of the petitioners was that their order of promotion from Primary School Teacher to High School Teacher was withdrawn by the authorities
Counsel for the petitioners had stated that apart from merits of the order which would ultimately decide the petition, petitioners, at least should be given the salaries of Primary School Teachers, which would be without prejudice to the rights of the petitioners in the petition
Only the question of promotion being involved, petitioners were0entitled to get the salary of at least Primary School Teachers
Petitioners having the status of Primary School Tea .hers, their salaries should be paid to them within 15 days.
Judgment & Decree
The grievance of the petitioners is that their order of promotion from Primary School Teacher to High School Teacher was withdrawn by respondent No.1. Learned counsel for the petitioners states that apart from merits of the order which shall ultimately decide this petition, at least petitioners should be given the salaries of Primary School Teachers which shall be without prejudice to the rights of the petitioners in this petition. As only the question of promotion is involved, the petitioners are entitled to get the salaries of at least Primary School Teachers. Hence for now, the petitioners shall have the status of Primary School Teachers at least, therefore, their salaries should be paid to them within 15 days. Notice to unserved respondents be repeated. To come up on 24-12-2008. H.B.T./M-16/K Order accordingly.
