Criminal Miscellaneous No. 663/H of 1988, decided on 6th November, 1988. ‑‑‑S. 491‑‑Habeas corpus‑‑Detenu produced before Court by bailiff‑‑Statements of detenu and police official recorded‑‑Statements found conflicting‑‑Matter requiring further inquiry‑‑Detenu granted bail and directed to join investigation. Ghulam Rasool Waraich for Petitioner. Statement of the alleged detenu has been recorded. Muhammad Mukhtar A.S.I. has denied the allegations and states that Muhammad Tufail was ‑‑‑arrested yesterday in case F.I.R. No. 268 dated 5‑11‑1988 under section 14 of the Offence Against Property Ordinance, 1979 and section 374/411, P.P.C. and that eight drums of raisin were recovered at his instance belonging to Delta Industries. In view of the conflicting statements the matter is one of further inquiry. The petitioner is directed to produce evidence in support of his allegation on 22‑11‑1988. Till then he is admitted to bail in the sum of Rs.7,000 with two sureties in the like amount to the satisfaction of Deputy Registrar (Judi.) of this Court. He is, however, directed to join the investigation. SA./M‑1066/L Bail allowed.
