‑‑‑‑S. 491‑‑‑Habeas corpus ‑‑‑Detenu was found arrested in a criminal case registered against him‑‑‑Bailiff of Court had found injuries on the person of alleged detenu who was got medically examined under orders of Court‑‑‑Six injuries were found on the person of detenu by Surgeon Medico‑legal‑‑‑Senior Superintendent of Police was directed to take appropriate action against miscreant police officials who inflicted injuries to the detenu. Petitioner in person.

Judgment & Decree

Pursuant to preceding order Muhammad Akmal alias Nanha was medically examined‑ by Surgeon Medico‑legal Punjab, Lahore on 24‑7‑1991, who found 6 injuries on his person. This medical examination was felt necessary on examining the bailiffs report who stated that he had found signs of violence on the legs, arms, eyes and other parts of the body of the aforesaid alleged detenu. Since the alleged detenu stands arrested in F.I.R. No.251/91 registered on 29‑6‑1991 under section 382, P.P.C. at Police Station Hajipura and his arrest was already recorded in the papers, as such, I do not want to proceed any further in this matter. However, a copy of the bailiffs report alongwith medical report be sent to the S.S.P., Sialkot, who shall take appropriate legal action against the miscreant police officials, who inflicted injuries on the person of Muhammad Akmal alias Nanha. The action taken by the S.S.P., Sialkot shall be reported to the Registrar of this Court within four weeks. Disposed of accordingly. S.A./M‑3217/L Order accordingly.
