‑‑‑‑S.498‑‑‑Penal Code (XLV of 1860), S.409/420/468/471/109‑‑‑Prevention of Corruption Act (II of 1947), S.5‑‑‑Pre‑arrest bail‑‑‑Bail application had to be first moved before and disposed of by the. Special Judge, Banking Court‑‑ Accused was, therefore, allowed protective bail for ten days to enable him to move the Banking Court in this behalf with the direction to join police investigation as and when required. Ijaz Muhammad Bhatti for Petitioner. The petitioner is involved in Crime Case No.28, dated 17‑5‑1994 registered at Police Station F.IA., Multan (C.B.C.) under sections 409, 420, 468, 471, 109, P.P.C. read with section 5 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1947. Apprehending his arrest he has filed this petition for his admission to pre‑arrest bail.

2. The bail application has to be first moved before and disposed of by the learned Special Judge Banking Court (Offences in Banks), Lahore.

3. I have heard the preliminary arguments. The petitioner is allowed the protective bail in the sum of Rs.30,000 with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Deputy Registrar of this Court to be furnished within four days till 23‑1‑1995 and during this period he shall file the application before the learned Special Judge Banking Court (Offences in Banks), Lahore. This order shall become infructuous on 23‑1‑1995. The petitioner shall join the police investigation as and when required.

4. Copy Dasti on payment of usual charges, if desired.

5. This petition stands disposed of. N.H.Q./N‑294/L Protective bail granted.
