M. Iqbal Cheema for Petitioner. Malik Rehmat Khan Awan for the State. The petitioner Muhammad Akbar has moved this petition for bail after arrest under section 497/498, Cr.P.C. in a case registered against him under section 12 of the Offence of Zina (Enforcement of Hudood) Ordinance, 1979 read with section 377, P.P.C. at Police Station Badami Bagh, Lahore, vide F.I.R. No. 218 dated 23-6-1987. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned State counsel have submitted that the parties have compromised and as such, this is a fit case for the grant of bail to the petitioner. The Investigating Officer is also present before me alongwith the record of the case. 3. In view of the statements of the parties that a compromise ha been entered into between them, the petitioner is admitted to bail in A the sum of Rs. 30,000 (Rupees thirty thousand) with two sureties, each in the like amount, to the satisfaction of Assistant Commissions City/Duty Magistrate, Lahore. M.Y.H./M-375/L Bail granted.
