State counsel in view of compromise between the parties did not oppose application of complainant for quashing of proceedings

Compromise between parties being recognised ground for quashing of proceedings, application as such was accepted. Ch. Muhammad Abdus Salam for Petitioners. Shamim Hussain Bokhari for the Complainant. Muhammad Iqbal for the State. This is an application for quashment of complaint under section 392/34 filed by Ijaz Hassan, respondent, No.2, pending in the Court of Ilaqa Magistrate, Gojra.

2. Learned counsel for the complainant submits that by now the parties have compromised and the complainant, respondent No.2, does not desire to pursue the complaint filed by him. He does not intend to produce any evidence in the trial Court. In view of the compromise between the parties, learned counsel for the State has not opposed this petition.
