Judgment & Decree

ZAYED ZAHID HUSSAIN, J.

The learned counsel for the respondents points out that the petition is not maintainable in view of judgment of this Court dated 10-1-2007 in Writ Petition No.11476 of 2006. The learned counsel for the petitioners, however, states that the representations filed by the petitioners qua the redressal of their grievances should have been considered and decided by the respondents-Corporation. In view of the provisions of section 24-A of The General Clauses Act, 1897 it is indeed duty of the statutory functionaries to consider representations of like nature and decide the same in accordance with law. The petition is, thus, disposed of accordingly with the observations that in case any such representations are still pending, the same will be considered and disposed of in accordance with law. M.B.A./M-253/L Order accordingly.
