Procedure for registering Nikah and obtaining NADRA Marriage Certificate

Stamp paper Nikah is not legally recognized for official records. You must get your Nikah registered by a licensed Nikah Registrar using the official 4-copy Nikahnama form. Once registered, take the copy of the Nikahnama signed by the Registrar, along with husband and wife CNICs, to the local Union Council office to issue the NADRA Computerized Marriage Registration Certificate.
