Re-instatement

Services of employees working in Education Department were terminated on telephonic instructions of Director of Education without assigning any reason and without providing them any opportunity of hearing, in a most arbitrary manner

Employees had a vested right to continue: in service until: 1 came to end in accordance with law-- Valuable right having accrued in favour of employees could not be taken away lightly and public functionaries were required to perform their duties strictly in accordance with law and not to play with the rights of people in tile manner as had been done

Order passed by competent authority in an arbitrary manner without applying independent mind and mechanically just on a telephonic message, wits set aside and employees were re-instated in service.
