Judgment & Decree

SAAD SAOOD JAN, J.--This petition for special leave to appeal is from the judgment dated 10-2-1980 of the Punjab Service Tribunal which accepted the appeal of the respondent and directed the expungement of adverse remarks recorded in his annual confidential report. The learned counsel for the petitioner points out that leave to appeal has already been granted by this Court in C.P.S.L.A. No. 799 of 1979 to consider the question whether the jurisdiction of the Provincial Service Tribunal extended to expungement of adverse remarks and that the same question arises for consideration in this case. In view of this position we grant leave to appeal in this petition also. The appeal may be made ready for hearing on the present record with permission to the parties to file an additional documents, if any. This appeal should be heard alongwith the matter already mentioned. S.Q./I-17/S Leave granted.
