Appellant had alleged that his electricity connection was disconnected without prior notice to him and that despite efforts being made, he had neither been issued detection bill nor any reason for said omission had been conveyed to him--High Court did not comment on the veracity of allegations levelled in appeal, but directed appellant to appear before the Authority along with a copy of appeal which would be treated by the Authority as an application/representation and would be decided within a week; in the meanwhile, subject to appellant's depositing reconnection charges and any other lawful dues which Authorities could intimate the appellant, electric connection of appellant would be restored within specified time.

Judgment & Decree

TASSADUQ HUSSAIN JILANI, J.

Submits that the electricity connection of appellant's premises was disconnected without prior notice to the appellant on 17-5-2004 and despite efforts being made appellant has neither been issued any detection bill nor any reason for the afore- referred action has been conveyed to him.

2. We would not like to comment on the veracity of the allegations levelled in the appeal. Let appellant appear before respondent No.2 on any date in the current week along with' a copy of this appeal, which shall be treated as an application/representation and decided within a week. In the meanwhile and subject to appellant's depositing the reconnection charges and any other lawful dues which the respondent LESCO may intimate the appellant. The appellant's electricity connection shall be restored within 48 hours of the appearance before him. However, this would be without prejudice to any action, 'which the respondent LESCO may take and the remedies, which the appellant may pursue under the law. Disposed of. H.B.T./M-915/L Order accordingly.
