Accused was admitted to bail accordingly. NA. Butt for Petitioner. Shahbaz Saeed Sajid for the State. Date of hearing: 7th December, 1993. The alleged contribution which Amin petitioner had made towards the murders of Rahat Munir alias Tipu and Ishtiaq was that he had allegedly spied on the two deceased persons and had informed Abdul Rehman of the presence of the said deceased persons in the area in pursuance of which, the said Abdul Rehman and one Jumma Khan finally went and shot the two deceased persons dead.

2. Muhammad Akram Cheema, Inspector/I.O. of the C.I.A., Staff, Lahore, who had also investigated this case had referred me to the statements of one Bashir and one Amjad Pervaiz in this connection. I consider it proper to exercise restraint in the matter of making comments on the said statements and the connection of Amin petitioner which is consequently being sought to be established with the murders in question. Suffice it, however, to say that the petitioner who has remained in custody for over a year, has made out a case for his release on bail. He is accordingly admitted to bail in case F.I.R. No.363/92 of Police Station, Lower Mall, Lahore, subject to his furnishing security in the sum of Rs.30,000 with two sureties each in the like amount to the satisfaction of A.C./Duty Magistrate, Lahore. N.H.Q./M-1539/L Bail granted.
