Judgment & Decree
Mr. Abdullah Chandio learned counsel appearing for the State Bank of Pakistan has opposed the grant of bail to the accused on the ground that his earlier bail application was dismissed on merits on 21-10-1989. That the accused is likely to abscond if he is granted bail. I have considered the contentions of the learned counsel. It is an admitted position that the accused is a businessman and his entire property standing in his name has been seized by F.I.A. people. I have been assured by Mr. Nasimuddin that the Passports and Identity Card of the accused have been kept in the Court of Sessions Judge, Karachi (East) which shall not be released or handed over to the accused without further orders from this Court. The accused shall submit account books before the State Bank within seven days from the date of his release on bail. However, in this connection F.IA. In view of the above fact, I direct that the applicant shall be released on bail on furnishing two sureties each in the sum of Rs.2,00,000 (Rupees two lacs) and P.R. Bond in the like amount to the satisfaction of Nazir of this Court.
